Peer Review Process

Each article undergoes rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and double-blind peer review by at least one anonymous expert referee. Book reviews are assessed by the journal’s Book review editor. The final decision of publication or rejection of an article is taken by the chief editor based on the results of the review.

The review is carried out in 4 weeks (for each reviewer), on the principles of lack of personal interest, on the basis of impartial scientific approach, excluding any conflict of interests.

The completed written review forms are stored in the archive of the International Journal of Armenian Genocide Studies, are not provided to anyone, including the author, and are not subject to publication. The author is informed of the results of the review, suggestions and comments by email.
